The Model (Venture Productions)

This means we treat your songs as startups.

We invest our labor, facility, and creative direction in exchange for a share of ownership.

Why? two reasons:

  1. Encourage more releases = more opportunities for exposure

  2. Want to invest in music we like - knowing it will pay back.

We didn’t like the same-old producer model - it puts a lot of financial pressure on unfunded artists which really kills the momentum. We opened up this new route to change that

Who is it for?

This model isn’t for everyone. We strictly partner with artists who meet four key criteria:

  • Commercial Ambition: You’re aiming for mainstream charts and major festivals, rather than niche circuits.

  • Genre Fit: Pop, R&B, or Soul.

  • Independence: You are prepared to manage your own distribution and content marketing (advantage - having a team)

  • Vision & Resilience: You are hardworking, have a clear artistic vision, and are ready to do whatever it takes to succeed.

  • The Financials

    • Commitment Fee:£600. This covers studio overheads (rent, electricity, gear, admin) and secures your slot in the production calendar. It is non-refundable.

    • Production Investment:£1,500 + Extras (Recoupable). We front the cost of production. You do not pay this from your pocket, it is paid back solely from the song's future earnings.

    The Splits (Revenue)

    • Recoupment Phase: We split streaming income 70% Producer / 30% Artist until our £1,500 investment is repaid.

    • Hustle Clause: If you work hard on promoting the song - it shifts to 55%/45%.

    • Profit Phase: Once debt-free, the split shifts to 50% / 50% in perpetuity.

    • Publishing: Business as usual, everybody keeps their usual share.

  • Our goal is often to get you signed to a Major Label. We have a pre-agreed "Buyout Clause" to ensure you aren't stuck in a contract when a label calls.

    Independent: If you want to own the Master later, you can buy us out for a flat fee at any time.

  • To maintain a high volume of output, we adhere to strict studio protocols:

    • Vision: Come to sessions with a vision, references, artists that excite you (better to be from 10+ years ago)

    • Feedback: We require written feedback within 10 days. Silence = Project Paused.

    • Revisions: We do not cap revisions and sessions during the creative process (within a reasonable limit).

    • The "Vault": If a project is abandoned or remains unreleased for 10 months, we reserve the right to remove your vocals and pitch the song elsewhere. We do not let good songs die.
